Google Search Console Introduces Recommendations – Experimental Feature

Google Search Console (GSC) has rolled out a new feature called “Recommendations” that is designed to give your website a serious SEO boost.
Imagine having a personal assistant constantly looking for your website’s performance on Google Search and then giving you solutions on how to improve it.
GSC recommendations give you tailored advice on how to optimize your website by better performing on Google Search.
Check out the below screenshot to see what type of recommendations you will expect in Google Search Console.
Now, in the above screenshot what are the recommendations that are mentioned?
- A recommendations about how to improve the eligibility for rich results.
- Video indexibility improvement by providing the Thumbnail URL.
- A keyword who impressions suddenly fall which might happens due to loosing ranking.
- A recommendation saying “Search Console only shows 35% of your website’s performance data“, to view all your performance data, you first have to bulk export your data to BigQuery.
However, there is a catch: this feature is still under development and it might be possible not every GSC webmaster can access it right now. Infact, even after its rollout, GSC recommendations might be available to users when it has something valuable to offer.
The recommendations in Google Search Console are visible at the Overview Page. Also, do note that the suggestions might change over time, so it’s a good idea to check them regularly.
